ABOUT

At Glory Bell, we love you right where you are—and we're committed to helping you take the next step toward where God is calling you to be.

Whether you’re brand new to church, returning after some time away, or have walked with Jesus for years, you belong here. Our hope is that you’ll experience a fresh, life-giving connection with God and a vibrant community of people who care.

We keep things simple so we can focus on what matters most: helping every person live the full, purpose-filled life God designed for them. Everything we do flows from that mission—and we can’t wait to walk that journey with you.

The meaning of Glory Bell

Splendor, magnificence, great beauty; the majesty of God; worshipful praise, honor, and thanksgiving; giving glory to God. God's glory is something that appears (Exodus16:10), is revealed (Isaiah 40:5), or can be seen (Numbers 14:22).

Bells are intended to be heard over a wide area. Historically, bells have been associated with religious gatherings and are still used to call communities together for religious services. As heralds of both good and bad news, bells have an important place in history.

In Western culture, the dinner bell was used on the homestead to call the family in from the fields to gather for dinner together.

We believe Glory Bell Church has a sound going out into the communities of Waco to say two things:
  • It’s time to come and worship Jesus.
  • Come and join in community as part of our family.

We want to introduce people to Jesus and the life-changing power of His presence to see them become disciples on display for the glory of God.

Our Purpose Scripture - Isaiah 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me,
for the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted
and to proclaim that captives will be released
and prisoners will be freed.

He has sent me to tell those who mourn
that the time of the Lord’s favor has come,
and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.

To all who mourn in Israel,
he will give a crown of beauty for ashes,
a joyous blessing instead of mourning,
festive praise instead of despair.
In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks
that the Lord has planted for his own glory.
